Here's a good enough reason for an up to date blog post; I have a new blog. In fact, maybe that isn't such a good reason to update. What might happen to the world if I keep this up? At first it's just a blog within a blog, but pretty soon it's a blog within a blog within a blog, then a blog within blog hell only to end when hell hath frozen over. Maybe not that, but certainly, if you have trouble reading one blog then you're not going to have time to read two! Well, you'll be thanking me as I tell you this new one is simple and easy to follow as its mainly pictures. I got a brand new mobile phone, and I was messing around with the features of it when I discovered a 'Blog This' setting, so I clicked it and I apparently can blog photos from my phone. Secondly, I have just finished the LAN, a computer thing in case you didn't know, and I am shattered. Last night I stayed up til 8 o clock inb the morning, and that wasn't even me being at home as I had to walk back shortly afterwards, playing a tense Poker tournament with real cash involved. I had to borrow a quid to get in, as it was a £3 buy in [my very first real gamble] and luckily I came out of it breaking even, placing third out of seven people. Stupidly I went all in on a hand trying to bluff my way through a tactic that had worked previously, only for him to have the single card that beat me :) But overall it's been a good weekend, but I'm looking forward to just getting back to the house and relaxing. I may even skip my lectures tomorrow as a result in fact, in order to catch myself up completely. I have been putting off doing the lab homework due in tomorrow, so I'm going to have to finish that tonight.

I've also had a dispute with somebody that I reckon I handled in a respectable manner, still dishing out the sly remark but remaining professional. If only the other person could say the same thing. I won't say who it is, even though most of you won't know them anyway, but suffice to say they have a mustache which probably narrows down the person a lot more than you'd think ;) I feel bad this weekend for neglecting my good friends, they have made plans that I have been unable to attend, so I will be sure to make up for that soon!

Wednesday I have this really wicked CV boosting event, it's The Guardian [the newspaper, not the recent film] Media Conference for students, and it's where a load of professional and respected journalists come down and talk to us about how to improve our writing skills for journalism. Something similar, using Essex Uni grads who have gone into careers in radio, happened a couple of weeks back and it was excellent, apart from the fact I hadn't slept the night before so I was unable to pay 100% attention. It was free and I got the gig along with a few others so we're all meeting up at 7:30AM to meet and go to this place together. It's gonna be really good, and my maths friend happens to be going to the train station that time too so she is coming with us! Hoping she'll have fun in twickenham :p
